Following a series of sold-out concerts across Europe and the strong international response surrounding his latest album Greetings from Soulgaria, Bulgarian Cartrader will perform a concert at SOFIA LIVE CLUB on December 5, 2026 at the invitation of Sofia Live Festival.
Sofia-born and Berlin-based artist Daniel Stoyanov has established himself as one of the most interesting and recognizable names on the contemporary European alternative scene. His music combines indie pop, soul, R&B, jazz and Balkan influences in a distinctive style that the international press has described as “hypnotizing indie pop”, “inspiring” and “an elegant blend of indie, pop and soul”.
Under the name Bulgarian Cartrader, Stoyanov builds a world in which nostalgia, self-irony, personal stories and cultural memory are transformed into music. After years as a musician, author and collaborator with artists such as Peter Fox, SEEED, Casper and Solomun, he created his own project, which quickly attracted attention far beyond Germany and Bulgaria. In 2023, he won the prestigious Music Moves Europe Award, which honors the most promising new European artists.
His latest album Greetings from Soulgaria has become a kind of musical map of an imaginary world between Sofia and Berlin – a space in which Balkan sensibility meets American soul, indie energy and strong storytelling. The album was entirely written and produced by Stoyanov and contains some of his most personal songs to date, inspired by themes such as identity, memory, love, anxiety and belonging.
On stage, Bulgarian Cartrader is an artist who can hardly be placed in a genre frame. His concerts are simultaneously danceable, emotional and unpredictable, a mixture of indie groove, soulful vocals, humor, improvisation and infectious stage energy. It is his live performances that have made him one of the most talked about new names on the European scene in recent years.
The concert in Sofia is part of the How To Sell Tickets Online Fast Tour 2026, which will present both songs from Greetings from Soulgaria and already established favorites such as Golden Rope and LAB, as well as brand new material that is due to be released in 2026.
After his concerts in Berlin, Paris, London and numerous European festivals, Bulgarian Cartrader returns home for a special meeting with the Bulgarian audience. An evening in which stories, dance and emotion will meet on one stage.
A limited number of Early Bird tickets priced at €25 are available only at www.sofialivefest.com, and on June 9th, tickets will go on sale at the regular price of €35 in the Eventim network and partner box offices.
